13.8 Volt 22 Amp (constant) Fan Cooled Switched Mode Regulated PSU
Rated for a peak output of 25 Amps and a constant output of 22 amps, this regulated power supply unit combines everything you could possibly want! High Power output capability, small size, lightweight construction, cooling fan and full protection circuitry. This is a very high quality reliable power supply at a rock bottom price, previously unheard of at the 22 amp level! It can be used virtually anywhere in the world that utilises either 110/120V or 220/240V AC mains voltages. Extensive input and output filtering is incorporated into this versatile unit which provides good all round isolation from spikes and high frequency interference.
With such high output capability, this Power Supply is probably the only one you will ever need for even the most powerful 12/13.8 volt dc transmitters. It is ideal for our 40 watt dc transmitter and will be just cruising at this level. If you do manage to run this Power House at anywhere near it's maximum potential, a built in variable speed cooling fan speeds up and keeps the temperature down. The full 22 amp output is available from the front panel mounted binding posts, whilst a smaller auxiliary 6 amp output is available from rear panel mounted snap-on terminals.
The unit is housed in a very stylish metal enclosure complete with rubber feet and is supplied with a removable 'Euro' style mains input power cord. Due to it's lightweight construction, shipping anywhere in the world is not a problem. Previously, Power Supply units of 22 amps output weighed at least 8Kg. This unit weighs just 2.5Kg. This keeps shipping costs down!
