This is the PLL PRO 3 (1 Watt Version), a professional FM Transmitter kit and also the small brother of the highly acclaimed and proven Multi-Power 4 Watt PLL PRO 3. Incorporating unique NRG circuit design, this version delivers a highly stable 1 watt of RF power to a correctly matched antenna. The PLL PRO 3 design uses wide-band power amplifier technology, this eliminates the need to "tune up" the transmitter to "peak the power". Furthermore we guarantee this transmitter will deliver a minimum of 1 watt and typically 1.3 watts (1300mW), whilst staying cool. Including a generous Heatsink, the output stage even has a temperature compensation circuit to maintain constant power at high ambient temperature. Compare this specification and performance level to the miserable 800mW achieved with another make that overheats readily and is full of harmonics!

PRO III STEREO CODER

This is the well established NRG Pro 3 series Stereo Encoder. Using an improved pcb and layout, it provides excellent stereo performance and is the perfect companion for any of our mono transmitter kits. This kit will also provide full Stereo FM with most other quality FM transmitters. Dual Pre-emphasis (user adjustable) makes the kit compatible for any country whilst a fuse 'crowbar' circuit makes the unit damage-proof from reverse polarity connection. Dual leds indicate stereo or mono output and stereo/mono jumper is fitted, to enable easy testing.

Left and Right ident circuitry is fitted to the PRO III Stereo Coder and this ensures that Left and Right Channels can never reverse to give an inverted stereo image. This feature alone puts it way ahead of low cost stereo coders from other manufacturers.

Connection of this kit is very simple; the unit accepts the standard stereo Left and Right line-out from any stereo source and gives out a single multiplex signal, which can be fed directly into the input of ANY NRG mono transmitter and many other commercially available products.

This is the High Performance NRG Pro 3 series Stereo Limiter Compressor kit which is the result of much research into analogue automatic gain control design. Without a doubt, this is one of the finest Limiter Compressor units available to the constructor. With much improved circuitry, this limiter delivers a very powerful smooth sound, with none of the 'breathing' and roughness of some designs. The left and right channels use perfectly matched gain control devices to ensure accurate channel balance and gain tracking. And we have made sure that those 'high energy' high frequency sounds don't have that 'squashed' and overlimited characteristic, prevalent in many designs!

The Digital Oversampling technique is used for both the 19KHz pilot tone generation and Left/Right channel multiplexing. This gives all the low noise and headroom advantage of simple switching coders but without the need for elaborate filters, which degrade the stereo separation. The 19 kHz pilot Sine Wave purity is exceptional in this design, and the digital generation ensures correct and accurate phase relationship with the other multiplex components. In addition, a precision Crystal Oscillator ensures long term stability and calibration. A Dual Rail Power Supply is used on this design which enables the high grade IC circuitry to work at it's very best with NO compromise. Very high quality Low Noise Op-Amps are used for the audio circuits to achieve better than -70dB S/N ratio.
